🕯️ Rainbow Bridge Farewell Spell 🕯️

🕯️ Rainbow Bridge Farewell Spell 🕯️

A farewell ritual to guide your pet’s spirit in peace and love.

Best done at sunset or during the waning moon for release and closure.

🔮 You Will Need:

  • A white candle (purity, spirit)
  • A photo or object that belonged to your pet (collar, toy, etc.)
  • A small bowl of water (to symbolize the bridge between worlds)
  • Dried rosemary or lavender (for remembrance and peace)
  • A small rainbow-colored ribbon or paper (optional, symbolic of the Rainbow Bridge)

🌙 The Spell:

  1. Create a sacred space
Find a quiet place. Set up the candle, photo/item, and bowl of water. You may wish to cast a circle or simply speak:
“I open this space between worlds, in love and light.”
  2. Light the candle
    As you light it, say:
“By flame and spirit, I call upon light to guide my beloved [Pet’s Name] on their journey tonight.”
  3. Hold the object/photo close
Speak from your heart, or say:
“You brought me joy, you brought me peace,
And now I bless you with release.
May you run free beyond the veil,
Through stars and sky, on rainbow trail.”
  4. Sprinkle rosemary or lavender into the bowl
    Say:
“With these herbs, I send my love.
Fly swift and free, on wings above.”
  5. Dip the rainbow ribbon/paper in the water (optional)
Lay it near the candle. Visualize your pet surrounded in a glow of love, running happy and free.
  6. Close the spell
Gaze into the candle and say:
“Though you are gone from my arms, you are never gone from my heart.
I honor your spirit, I cherish your life. Until we meet again under moonlight.”
  7. Let the candle burn safely until it extinguishes or snuff it out gently
Bury the herbs and water outside, or pour into the earth as an offering.

🌈 Optional Addition:

Create a “Rainbow Bridge Jar” with their photo, a note, herbs, and a crystal (like rose quartz or amethyst), sealed with intention for memory and love.
